Wherever you are in the world, you may be feeling the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak, and you may be self-isolating as a measure to prevent and reduce the spread of the disease. This can take a toll on any person, so I want to share some tips on how I am practicing self-care while I abide by the social distancing recommendations in NYC. Traditional and social media has painted #COVID19 to be dangerous and incite panic among the population, and as a result misinformation has led to a rise in panic-buying, experimenting with false cures, and anti-Asian racism. The best advice is to not panic and follow the CDC and WHO on basic hygiene practices that will help protect you and reduce your chances of getting sick.
