Hey everyone! Summer is in full swing with the warm rays shining on all of us here in NYC 🙂 I wanted to get your advice on your suncreen of choice. Over the years, I’ve tried so many different brands (Coppertone, Banana Boat, Aveeno, Australian Gold, Neutrogena, etc.) and I’d love to get your two cents on what you would recommend.
My skin type: combination (can be normal at times, while other times there will be dry patches, and my T-zone is usually oily), with eczema sometimes on my arms and legs when the weather changes.
Most sunscreens come in bottles or sprays, and I wanted to eventually move away from plastic bottles, but in the meantime, I’m open to trying brands that have limited packaging options if they are good for your body and health. There have been ads for “The Honest Company” products, but after hearing and reading about reviews of the bad side effects of using these products, I’m hesitant to try anything new without people’s firsthand experiences and feedback.
Additionally, do any of you have recommendations on deodorants? I’m definitely open to trying mainly deodorants without the antiperspirant chemicals, and saw Piperwai on Shark Tank, but saw some iffy reviews on Amazon… If there’s a Piperwai staff reading this, I would be open to testing your product out and writing a review ^_^ I was planning to visit Lush to try one of their natural deodorants, so if there’s anyone out there who has used charcoal-based deodorants or natural/organic products, I want to hear from you! 🙂
